Book Reviews

Below is just a sample of Summer's children's book reviews published in The Horn Book Magazine and Kirkus Reviews. Summer reviews all kinds of books for young readers, but especially loves to review those by authors from the Caribbean and its diaspora. She believes it's very important that books depicting underrepresented communities are reviewed by people who are members of those communities. She reads every book she reviews from beginning to end.
